shining moment
News! I am being featured on the Little Beasts website as photo of the week!!!! How cool is that!? My mom & dad submitted a "Tito Classic" to Bergamot & Emrys when I was just a wee pup. Now it is online for all to see. The best part is that visitors to the site can create captions for my photo. I can't wait to read all the captions for my picture. constant gardener
It's summer time and the living is sweet! As some of you know, I love nothing better than to get out into the garden when the long days of summer arrive. I love visiting all the plants, smelling the flowers, and even getting my paws dirty by digging in the soil.
Before I do anything, I must do my stretches to make sure I'm not too stiff...
Once I'm limber, I head out into the garden to see what's new. Hey - these flowers are new! I should smell them. And hey - river rocks? Those weren't here last summer. Maybe I can paw them around the yard!...
Last Christmas my Aunt & Uncle gave my parents a gift certificate for some trees. They decided to put a flowering crabapple tree in the corner of the yard. They said something about privacy and beautiful pink blooms but I think the real reason they chose this tree was because it is the perfect shade tree for me. Yup. It's mine. I'm claiming it. You can find me taking a break in its shade with a bully stick...
I helped plant rhododendrons and hydrangeas down the side of the house...
All in a day's work. Now I sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labour! So proud...

tuckered tito
Spring has sprung! It's that time of year when I decide to come alive in a BIG way!
I had quite a busy weekend. I played some soccer, met some new neighborhood dogs, wrestled with my dad, chased some children and relaxed at the patio table with a bone. It wasn't all fun and games though, I also had to maintain the garden. I helped dig in the dirt and I smelled each and every tulip in the garden to ensure they were coming along nicely.
On Friday I went to my grandma & grandpas house and zoomed around their yard and played with my big ball. I was so exhausted that I couldn't keep my eyes open on the way home. This is VERY unusual for me, because normally I like to look out the window at all the action. This time my dad caught me having a snooze on the seat beside him. This was no little nap...I was fully splayed out in exhaustion, snoring away...

winter recap
I'm still trying to play a bit of catch up with my blog. I have so many pictures to share! You see, I was quite a busy guy over the winter.
First, I wanted to show off my snazzy Christmas sweater. I know this is a little out of date, but I think I looked pretty handsome in it....
In fact, the humans subjected me to quite a few goofy outfits this winter. In an attempt to improve my performance in the snow (ie. get me to actually stay outside for more than 30 seconds), my mom and dad put these funny snow boots on my feet. Man - can you believe it?!? How is a dog supposed to walk? I got all bundled up in my sweater and coat and then they put the boots on. I didn't make it easy for them, let me tell you! After I was bundled up they dropped me in the backyard. I romped for a little bit, but then I ran for the door. Snow is just not for me! See what I had to deal with...!
I prefer to sit in the window, tucked in behind the curtain with the sun pouring in...
Finally, look who got a new cool chicken! I think I can have the squeaker ripped out of this guy in no time. What do you think? Arrrgh matey....

two cute
Someone had a birthday! That's right...Tito turned two this week. I got to enjoy the day by sleeping in and getting spoiled. The humans made me a special party hat that I wore just long enough to get a picture...
I also got to enjoy my annual cupcake treat. Instead of a meat-cake like last year, I got a special cupcake from the doggie bakery...
It even had sprinkles that I got aaaaaaall over the carpet....
..and that made me smile!

Has it really been over 3 months since I last blogged? I'm ashamed of myself. The worse part is that I've had so many adventures since I last posted an entry.
